The Double Take are two movie lovers from the opposite sides of the globe.
Michael is a Graphic Designer from Bristol, England, who is currently living in New Plymouth, New Zealand. As a young teenager Michael was introduced to 70’s – 90’s classics, ranging from horror to western, and as he got older he has developed a passion for film. From the age of around twelve he loved the Spielberg classic Jaws, owning a 20th anniversary VHS copy and became his favourite movie. A fictional movie festival celebrating the works of Martin Scorsese became the subject of his final project at university, and since this time he has explored a plethora of films and developed a love for all things Scorsese, Fincher, Aronofsky, Hitchcock and so many more.

Stefan is a Music Producer working in Health Care as a Maintenance Operative and Activities Coordinator for a Residential Care Home. Born in Yeovil England, he currently lives in a small town just outside of Bristol. Growing up, he took a huge interest in music through his Father who played the guitar. Immediately falling in love with making noise, he began honing his craft as a Drummer, Guitarist and Music Producer. Along side sound and music, he fell in love with film at a young age, developing an obsession for space, the unknown and science fiction. Films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Apollo 13 and Contact played a pivotal role in expanding his horizons in his later years.
